Acrylic Acid & Acrylic Ester

Waterborne acrylic, also known as acrylic emulsion or aqueous acrylic dispersion, refers to a class of acrylic polymer emulsions dispersed in deionized water as the continuous phase. It is produced via free-radical emulsion polymerization, using acrylic acid, methyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, 2-EHA, methacrylate and other vinyl monomers, matched with emulsifiers, initiators and functional monomers for copolymerization. No or minimal organic solvent is used, complying with low-VOC environmental standards. Based on molecular structure, it is divided into pure acrylic emulsion, styrene-acrylic emulsion, silicone-acrylic emulsion, hydroxy acrylic emulsion and self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion.
